There's a few things to be noted about this trilogy before I begin.

First, this trilogy is almost a perfect combination of the Infinity and Time trilogies.
Retreat represents the combination of both Truth and Past, Resistance represents the
combination of both Love and Present, and Reunion represents the combination of both
Courage and Future.

Second, this was the longest trilogy I have made to date, and will also probably be the last,
barring possible personal compilations. This trilogy took just under 3 years to make, shy of
about a month since its conceptual phase began. The phasing out of CD's and the introduction
of portable MP3 players mean compilation CD's are largely going out of date.

Third, this is the first trilogy where I had allowed rules I had originally created for
compilations to be broken. Specifically, more than one artist is allowed on a CD (although
this was still to be avoided where possible). The funny thing about this is that allowing myself
to break this rule meant that it was very easy to find certain artists actually specialised
in one area of storytelling with their own music.

Finally, this is the first trilogy that can actually run from beginning to end in a seamless
order. Every other trilogy was designed solely for independent play.
