My Second Art Page!!
Well, I have mentioned before that I do like art, both viewing it and attempting it! My favorite painter is Claude Monet....maybe not really an imaginative choice, but I love his work and that of the other impressionists. As for me, I'm nowhere in THAT league! But I like to draw, and paint some, in both watercolors and oils. I am still kind of treading water in the oils department, having a greater difficulty working with shading in that medium. I also love just using color markers and smudging with water! :) Kind of a watercolor effect. I can't really work from a model of any sort. I have to just paint what's in my brain, and I think that's why most of my stuff is fantasy-like. Anyway, a friend has been bugging me to make up some more art pages here, so here is my second one! Thanks for all the support and positive comments I've gotten from people!

This is an image that I did to go along with a story I was kind of coming up with in my head. Well, the story kind of got lost somewhere, and I am left with this kind of weird, disturbing picture!
Tortoise and the Hare
Not sure why I was thinking of this parable, but this is a depiction of the "Tortoise and the Hare" race, with the hare daydreaming and Mr. Turtle just chucking along! Just thought it was kind of cute.
The Dream
This is really a depiction of a dream I had one night. One in which I was wandering around in a forest, and found this stream....and it was like a Utopia....just me and all these little forest creatures. It also goes with a short story I wrote called "The magical forest".
