Chapter I
01/10/90
Dear Journal:
I think I have finally found a break
thru in my research of cancer. The
formula I have been working on seems to stop cancer in its tracks. I still have some more tests to run but I
think I have found a successful antibiotic for cancer.
Signed,
Dr. Stanley Peterson

Dear Journal:
How do you classify immortality? Science, Religion, Myth. I am a doctor of Science and I have
uncovered the secret to immortality. I
was running my final test on my cancer antibiotic. It was a radiation test to see if the antibiotic could survive
under a low level radiation field. I
think there was a short circuit in the computer that caused, instead of a low
level radiation field, a very high intense and radiation beam. The beam quickly caused a systems overload
that shut down the entire computer.
When I saw that the formula was still intact, I tested it immediately on
a dog that I had injected a cancer virus into.
The cancer had not only stopped, but it was reversing. This morning the dog jumped my fence and ran
in front of a car, the dog was hit and flew to the side of the road. The dog should have been killed but it
wasn't. It got up and started to chase
a cat. I caught the dog and ran an
X-ray. The X-ray proved that my formula
was the only thing that saved the dog.
I can't tell anyone about this formula, because it fell into the wrong
hands......

Dear Journal,
Earlier today I told someone about my
exciting discovery. The person was an
old and dear friend, Tony Lincoln. I
told him everything from my cancer research to the dog's X-rays. He promised
not to tell and I totally trust him not to.

Dr. Stanley Peterson

Dear Journal,
I have come to a major decision. I have decided to destroy my
experiment. It will cause more harm
then good, so I will destroy it tomorrow.
I told Tony about it, at first he tried to talk me out of it, but I
finally convinced him.
Signed,
Dr. Stanley Peterson
CHAPTER II
"Well, Lucky, here goes the
biggest scientific discovery ever down the drain," said Dr. Stanley
Peterson pouring the liquid down the drain.
"I would suggest that you stop
that immediately or I will shoot you!"
A voice said from behind him.
"Who are you?" Dr. Stanley Peterson asked turning around
and seeing a man in a ski mask.
"That doesn't matter, just hand
over the formula and I'll leave you alone," said the masked man.
"No!" Dr. Peterson said pouring the rest of the
formula down the drain.
"You shouldn't have done that,
Dr Peterson," said the masked man,
knocking Dr. Peterson out with the butt of his gun.
When Dr. Peterson awoke he was in
some sort of bag. He tried to get out,
but the opening was sealed shut somehow.
"AH! Dr. Peterson, you are awake," said a voice seeing the bag
move.
"Where am I?" Asked Dr. Peterson still groggy from the
blow to the head.
"You are in a bag, but it's a
special bag. You see we sealed every
part of it with iron plating, so you won't get out," said the voice very
calmly.
"What are you going to do with
me?" Dr. Peterson said nervously.
"I'm glad you asked, you see we
are going to place you in this special room.
When I throw the switch, the room will fill with lightning bolts. The iron will attract the bolts and fry
you."
"Your mad!" screamed Dr. Peterson.
"No, I'm just angry. You should have given my friend the formula
and this wouldn't have happened."
Five minutes later, Dr. Peterson was
placed in the room and the mysterious man pulled the switch and left. The lightning struck the bag hundreds of
times. Dr. Peterson was knocked out by
the first bolt. Something strange
happened to him when he was knocked out.
The bag melted away and the iron formed onto Dr. Peterson's body. His body was totally encased in iron. Ten minutes later, Dr. Peterson awoke. He slowly go up and started to walk toward
the door. Every time he stepped there
was a "clang" on the floor.
Dr. Peterson looked down at his legs and then the rest of his body, and
saw for first fist time, that his entire body had been plated with iron.
"What has happened to
me?" Cried Dr. Peterson dropping
to his knees.
CHAPTER III
02/07/93
Dear Journal,
I still have not been able to cope
with what has happened to me. In a way
I thank what ever powers did this to me because it saved my life, but I also
hate those same powers because they turned me into a living freak.
I still have not been able to
discover what has happened to me! I do
know some of the changes that has occurred to my body from what ever
happened. It has increased my height by
2 feet and my weight by 100 pounds. It
also has increased my strength by an immeasurable distance.
I have sworn revenge on the person
who did this to me. They were
successful in one thing! Dr. Peterson
did die in that room, Now only Iron remains.
Iron
CHAPTER IV
The next day Geremy Smith, one of the
henchmen, went back to the crime scene to clean up the mess, but Iron was
waiting on him.
"Who are you?" Asked Geremy scared stiff.
"My name is Iron, now tell me
where your boss is," screamed Iron in a brutal rage.
"No!" Geremy screamed pulling out a gun and firing
it at Iron. The bullets just bounced
off Iron's chest leaving Iron unharmed.
"Now tell me where he is?"
Asked Iron, this time a little calmer.
"I don't know? He just shows up when we need him to make a
decision, and that's the truth. Now
please don't hurt me," sobbed
Geremy uncontrollably.
"I'm not, but I suggest you
leave town, just in case I change my mind," Iron said. "Yeah, I'll do that," Geremy said
to Iron walking away.
CHAPTER V
"Hello, Geremy," a voice
said to Geremy who was packing up to go.
"Boss, what are you doing
here?" Asked Geremy surprised.
"Let's see Geremy, you have a
suitcase packed and a ticket to fly to Atlanta, GA, it looks like your leaving
town. Did you rat on me?" The boss said pulling out a gun.
"No boss, I would never rat on
you," said Geremy nervously.
"You must have made some mistake."
"Your right, Geremy, I must have
made a mistake," the boss said putting his gun away.
"Thank you, boss," said
Germey in a sign of relief.
"But!" The boss said pulling out his gun again,
"I don't make mistakes." With
that the boss put three fatal bullet holes into Geremy's head and Geremy fell
dead.
CHAPTER VI
The next day while Iron was watching
TV, the television suddenly switched to another program. Iron was surprised. The screen was filled with what appeared to
be a man, but it was just a shadow of a man.
The man then said, "This is a
special message just for Iron. Your
friend, Geremy, is dead and I killed him.
For some reason you want to kill me and I'm going to give you your
chance tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. You are to
meet me at the same place you found Geremy or I will cause more destruction. That is all for now and I hope to see you
tomorrow. Bye for now."
Iron didn't know how this man found
out about him, but he did find out somehow.
Now Iron would have to walk into a trap and possibly die there. He knew that he would have to go back to the
warehouse where he became Iron.
CHAPTER VII
The day came and went and it was soon
8:00 p.m. when Iron got to the warehouse, he was taken by surprise by two men
firing machine guns. Iron grabbed the
first gunman and threw him onto the
roof of the warehouse. After seeing his
companion physically thrown three stories high, he sort of just fainted.
The next challenge was, five weapon
specialists, they were throwing everything at Iron they had: machine gun fire, grenades, and bazooka
missiles. None of the weapons were
successful and the specialists were quickly knocked out.
On the second floor, Iron had to
contend with trap doors, snipers, and various other traps. Iron, as usual, passed through them all with
ease.
On the third floor it appeared that
Iron only had one adversary and that was a man who was called Power Fist. He laid his best blows into Iron's head,
chest, and stomach. The punches probably would have killed a normal man, but
for Iron they were just like someone was poking at him. After taking 12 punches Iron retaliated with
a strong right and followed it up with a left to the stomach. After just two punches Power Fist was struggling. He tried to retaliate, but he couldn't
produce the strength to punch Iron hard.
Iron, using all of his strength, back-slapped Power Fist and the blow
instantly snapped his neck. Power Fist
dropped to his knees and fell dead.
Suddenly a voice from a loud speaker
entered the hallway, "Iron, if your looking for me, which I know you are,
look for me on the roof. You'll find
me, but don't expect to find anything again.
Ha, Ha, HA, HA, . . . ."
Iron found the stairs to the roof and
climbed them. He found the door to the
roof. He opened it, not knowing what
would be on the other side.
CHAPTER VIII
Iron saw nothing on the roof except
for a giant broadcast tower and what looked like a hunk of some machinery. Iron moved closer to the machine, when it
started to rise and take shape. When it
finally rose to its fullest height it was probably at least 10 feet high and
fully equipped with missile launchers, machine guns, lasers, and a wind
machine.
"Do you like it, Iron? This is the Eliminator 100 a fully robotic
controlled mobile assault robot. Right now I have it on manual so I can have
the pleasure of tearing you from limb to limb." Said the man in the cockpit of the giant robot who Iron still
could not see.
"Who are you?" Asked Iron very calmly.
"I think you know who I am
Stanley, you just don't want to believe it."
"Your right I do know who you
are. Your the only person that knew
about the formula. Your Tony
Lincoln!" Said Iron still calm.
"Yep, and now I will destroy
you," laughed Tony charging at Iron.
"Ughhh..." Iron screamed while being knocked off the
side of the building. Luckily for Iron
his foot got caught in a wire and he was hanging in mid-air like a worm on a
hook.
"Don't worry, Stanley, I'm not
going to let you fall. I want to tear
you apart myself," Tony said pulling Iron towards him.
"You may tear me
apart," Iron said kicking the
Eliminator 100, "but not without a fight.
Oh, by the way the names, Iron."
Iron said kicking the Eliminator 100 again.
Iron unwrapped his foot and attacked
the robot. The robot was stunned, but
that was all. The robot punched Iron
and Iron was knocked back into the tower.
"Nooo!" Tony screamed running toward the tower. "You'll ruin it."
"What is it?" asked Iron curiously.
"Who cares? It's in a systems overload. It's going to blow up the entire building,
and it's all your fault," Tony screamed running toward Iron.
Suddenly an electrical bolt came out
from the top of the tower and hit Tony.
Then another and another bolt came out, all of them striking Tony. The Eliminator 100 started short circuiting
and its self-destruction mode was started.
"I've got to get out of here
before the building explodes."
Iron said looking for an escape route.
Suddenly the tower started to
explode. Iron ran with all his might
and leaped off and away from the building.
When he landed he fell hard, but he was not injured. He got up and kept running, the building was
completely demolished. Iron ran back to
his house turned on the radio and just sat.
CHAPTER IX
When the police got to the warehouse
it was to late for any survivors.
Luckily for Tony Lincoln, the owner, was not in the building. Tony Lincoln, the owner, had disappeared.
When Iron listened to the radio news
break, he still did not know if Tony was dead or not.
02/16/93
Dear Journal,
Today I have come to another decision
in my life. I'm going to the New York
Times so I won't have to hide from the public.
I hope they believe me and if they don't I really don't know what to
do. The only thing I can do is hope and
pray.
