I like this little storyline. I have heard some people bash
it as being meaningless, but I think it is just a fun little minor storyline
that could have some pretty interesting future things come from it. Here is
what I would do with this budding relationship. Right now, they are playing it
as sort of a Romeo and Juliet type love story, and I would stick with that.
Continue with the disapproving of the Dudleyz and the Hollys. The Dudleyz are a
lot more vocal about it, and don’t have a problem with slapping Spike around to
make him see their point of view. The Hollys aren’t as vocal, but just as
disapproving, and don’t mind slapping Spike around to make Molly see their
point of view. In other words, Spike gets beat down a lot by both the Dudleyz
and the Hollys, but Spike refuses to get physically involved against either
team. Finally, in a six man tag match between all the Dudleyz and all the
Hollys, things come to a head. Spike and Molly refuse to fight each other, and
they will quickly tag out. This causes tension between the two teams. Finally a
melee happens, during which Hardcore brings in a chair, but the Dudleyz still
get the advantage over the Hollys, sending them all through tables, except for
Molly. They grab Molly, and Spike once again is telling them no. The Dudleyz
literally knock Spike backwards, and start to set Molly up for a top-rope
powerbomb through a table. Spike picks up the chair, and looks down at it, and
then at Molly, then at his ‘brothers.’ He then nails D-Von with the chair,
sending him out of the ring. Buh-Buh pushes Molly away, and goes immediately
after Spike, and Spike nails Buh-Buh as well, taking him down. Spike then grabs
Molly’s hand, and the two of them run up the ramp, disappearing into the back.
Crash slides into the ring, and covers Buh-Buh. 1…2…3! The Hollys win the
match. Spike and Molly’s relationship buds. Molly starts to come to the ring
with Spike, and the Hollys have left Spike alone. But with the attack on his
own brothers, the Dudleyz are on the warpath, and just want to destroy Spike
and Molly. During one of Spike’s matches, the Dudleyz come down. Spike sees
them, but can’t do anything, because he is blindsided by his opponent, who
picks up the win. The Dudleyz grab Molly, but Spike slides out of the ring,
after his loss, and begins to nail both Dudleyz, giving Molly a chance to
escape, but allowing the Dudleyz to 3D Spike through a table. The Dudleyz then
go off into the back after Molly. Molly is running through the halls, when she
runs across Tazz. Tazz wants to know what’s her problem. Molly tells the
situation, and asks for his help. Tazz says he knows he’s going to regret this,
but hide in his lockerroom, he’ll deal with the Dudleyz. A few moments later,
the Dudleyz come back, asking everyone if they’ve seen Molly. Tazz seeks them
out and asks if they are still looking for Molly, to which they reply, yes.
Tazz says he saw her getting into a car and getting away from the arena. He
heard her say something about the airport. The Dudleyz don’t bother saying
anything, they just take off, and head off toward the airport. Spike then
stumbles into the back, trying to find Molly before the Dudleyz do. Tazz finds
Spike, and tells him where Molly is hiding, and Spike thanks him. On Smackdown,
the Dudleyz come out and attack Tazz as he sits at the announce table. This sets
up an interesting Dudleyz vs. Spike and Tazz tag team match for a future ppv.
