Well, we got some home recording gear so we can set up some home demos. Evan came over and we recording some of Gone away. We also have a new song in the works (the one on the front page =D). Hope to have a crappily recorded single or EP out this year. Well, thats it.

we have minor instrument problems, but i believe we can begin to practice soon. we're hoping to play the talent show and we're gonna work at it. i've also been thinking about just having 1 guitar player, and i think it might work out. so, well see you guys around

warning to all
......bands from Drive-Thru Records

I have warned so many bands about sketchy "booking agents" who offer to book tours for a band. Sometimes they ask for a fee per show, sometimes a fee for the whole tour, and sometimes they just offer to do it for free. In all of those cases I tell the bands 99% of them are completely sketchy. I know well over 30 bands who have had a tour "booked" for them, and when they head out on the road they find out 80% of the tour isn't really booked, and in many cases none of the shows were booked. It's a really terrible situation for bands. You are much better off booking tours yourselves. It is harder to get a legitimate booking agent for your band than it is to get signed. With all of that said, there is a tour that was supposed to start today in Buffalo with Socratic and The Cover. I had no idea that the tour was being booked by a random kid or I would have had the band or someone in our office check on the shows and make sure they are legitimate. We found out today that there is nothing booked. The Cover (Rushmore Records) drove out from Colorado to be stranded without any shows. The funny thing is, now we find out that this same kid screwed over Houston Calls and other bands in the past. He changes his name or agency name. He recently goes by ZAC GLOBE at THE GOLDEN STATE AGENCY. Avoid this person at all costs!! There is also another agent named DANNY LeCOUR from somewhere in the south who has done the same things to bands, and also changes his name. BE CAREFUL!
