Virgin counterpart consisted of two bands. Ph0cus (2001) (Jon Pilande, Dan DeVincentis, and Kev Alcaraz) and (2003)(Armed and dangerous)(Matt O’Connell on drums, Andre Pliszak on bass, Mike Vasko on guitar, and Ritchie Pizamente on lead guitar).

Ph0cus changed to numerous names. Marshall, drift, Spincycle. Everything left them undecided. They finally decided to choose that’s what she said because of a famous quote used by many and especially camp Topanemous counselor Steve lella. He was a cool guy. The quote was That’s what she said. And that’s what they were called.

Armed and Dangerous and That’s What She Said had a similar pop-punk immature sound that was pretty much very simple in rhythm and musicianship. A few months later Ritchie started to lose interest in music and left AAD. Once he left the band fell apart.

Andre always liked TWSS and went to all there shows. He grew a great interest in them. TWSS had to change their name because it was copyrighted already. They had changed it to Star-Crossed. They found out that S-C was copyrighted also so they changed it to Fall so Far. They picked up a lead guitarist named Steve Shapiro from a band called Relic (2001). Relic was falling apart. Fall so far was doing the best it’s ever done at that time. However, Kev was unhappy with the music he was doing. He decided to leave the band and form his own called Virgin CounterPart. Kev picked up the mandolin and fell in love with the sound. Dan and Andre decided to join and then later Jon did. Steve however went to his progressive metal band called Evilution. Matt O’Connell is working on a ska-punk band with Mike smedes on guitar and temporarily Kevin Alcaraz on bass guitar. Mike Vasko and Ritchie are just bandless. In the end there is of break ups between. But you have to find the right chemistry. Because the outcome is always something special.
