Keys to Salvation...
There are many "ways/reasons" to become a follower of Christ, but there keys that are always true...

1. Realize that you are important to God... so much so that He sent His only Son for you... that He loves you.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten only Son, that whoeverso believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

2.Realize that you have SINNED and sin separates you from GOD.
"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
As mortal we are trying to find the meaning to life, unless we do that in God it will lead us to death.
"There is a way that seems right to man, but it leads to death." Pro. 14:12
Your works can't gain you a thing... "For it is by grace that you have been saved, though faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the GIFT of God-not by works, so that no one can boast." Phil. 2:8-9

3. Jesus died in your place and rose again for YOUR sins.
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Rom. 5:8
"Greater love hat no man than this, that he lay down his life for a friend."

4. Ask GOD for His Forgiveness Tell God of all your sins, be open, He wont turn you away...
"He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds MERCY." Pro. 28:13
God has promised to forgive you. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

5. Trust Jesus and receive Him as your Savior Jesus is Waiting....
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door. I will go in..." Rev. 3:30

Receive Him...
"Yet to all who receive Him, to those who believed in His name He gave them the right to become children of God." The Bible says that "we can come boldly to the throne of the Lord, and obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" Hebrews 4:14

Want to start down this path now?
If sooo... then talk with God a prayer like this simple one,

"Lord Jesus, I am coming to You now. I want to live a meaningful life, and leave the Spiritual darkness behind. I want Your Light in my Life. I admit that I have sinned and I ask for You to forgive me. I really do believe that You died in my place and rose again. I accept You as my Savior. I turn away from Spiritual darkness and sin and now follow You. Thank You, Jesus, for accepting me and for giveing me a new life in Your Truth. In Your Name, Amen." Keys to being follower... 1. Dedicate a place to prayer and devotion. Meet with God every night and morning for prayer, worship and/or Bible reading. (Some do just morning, just night, or split the prayer, worship, and reading between the two.) 2. Study the Word of God at least 15 minuets per day. Let GOd speak to you through His Word. The Bible is FOOD for the soul and spirit of mortal man. "As new babes, desire the milk of the Word, that ye may grow there by." 1 Peter 2:2 3. Join a Bible study. Attend Church often. "Forsake yet not the assymbleing of yourselves together, as is the manor of some, but " Hebrews 10:25 4. Be baptized, if not already. 5. Work for God. He left the winning of souls in to the kingdom for us. (He readies them, we harvest them. Mortals dont get people saved. We just help God by being the Hands and Feet of Christ to this watching world.) 6. Stay clear of evil companions... avoid any book, person, amusement or pleasure that is not uplifting to the heart and soul. 7.Give support to God's work... 10% to the store house and more as you feel lead. 8. Do not be discoraged.
