This site was built as a haven to role-players that love Zoids. This doesn't mean that role-playing is required of course, but it is highly encouraged as it is the main focus of the site. Normal battling as you may be use to will still exist and it probably will be very similar to what you have experienced before; however, you may realize, as you look through the Zoid list, that there are many Zoids missing. This is because through role-playing new Zoids will be introduced. Through role-playing, new items will be made available, and through role-playing, new governments and city-states will be created.
In an attempt to allow people who would prefer to battle without role-playing still participate without having any major disadvantages, skills will not affect normal Zoid battling. The battling skill and experience will be real and dependent on how well you learn and adapt. It will increase naturally as you battle more and more and learn to anticipate and counter your opponent's moves. RPing will still have an advantage however, since money and items can be acquired by the means of RPing instead of battling if you choose to do so.

If you do not like rules, don't bother joining. Because of the complexity of site, all rules and regulations are important in keeping the game fair and balanced for everyone. The rules are meant to prevent potential cheating and ease the already stressing task of moderating every single official rp, every single sale and purchase, everyone's bank account, everyone's inventory, and all the behind the things information we keep track of that you don't know about.
