In one of the most controversial and press-eaten events to go down in the EWA lately extends far passed the Breakthrough title defense of Derge. It extends far past the re-surgence of old EWA members. It even extends far past the newly crowned Legacy title holder, Richard Bison. The newest rumor to hit the press? The underground threat by a certain amount of wrestlers to walk out of the EWA, due to masive complaints.

So I have been talking to some of the people in the EWA, and many are unhappy - including myself. And while discussing things that many of us agree is not going well in the EWA, the idea of a "walkout" quickly came to order. So I, being the awesome person that I am, sent a private message to Eric Davis (the owner of the EWA) in order to let him know that alot of people were displeased with hoe things were being run lately, and alot of people might act on that displeasure. Yet, I wanted to put it nicely - since Eric Davis dosent have much creative controll right now, as he handed most resIonsability off to Treize DeLacroix. The letter I sent him read as fallows:
I personaly feel screwed becuase i got a push with Slayer, only to find out from quite a few people that Slayer is big on posting alot of RP's at the last minute to make sure he wins. And this was proven to me at the PPV, when he posted 2 5-page RPs right before deadline. By the time i looked to see what was up - i had no time. But technically thats allowed. So me bitching is pointless, and i know it. So ive gotten past that and take things in stride. I just feel like im in for a long string of losses. Example:
This weeks shocker card: Slayer (Internet champion, won at ppv), Chris Kane (Lost at PPV, consitantly rps), Derge (Breakthrogh Champion, won at PPV) VS Me (Lost to slayer at PPV), Shawn (Puts out one RP a week), and Junior (Lost to Derge at PPV)
I dont expect my side to do very well.
ANYWAYS :) Amongst other complaints that i have not myself been apart of; I've heard of poor booking weeks on end, people being promised things that dont go through, biased descisions based on those who've been here longer, and making ones character look like a jack ass after a reques goes through.
PPV was awesome! Kudos on that.
I just wanted to let you know that a few people are thinking about walking out, unfortunatly. So that you arent out of the loop.
I hope that was written well enough, and I chose to leave out names incase anyone else wanted to send him a PM themselves. After I noticed this message was read, quickly the next Shockers card was updated, and my match had changed from what is stated in the letter above, to Derge Vs Me & Shawn. Now while this seems to have tipped the scales completely in the opposite reaction, its justifiable since Derge MADE the request in his latest RP. Soon after I noticed this I got a responce from Eric Davis, that read as fallows:
It's just because I am way too busy with school that I stepped down. I can barely find the time to write a match.
Now as for your "complaint", I thank you for notifying me. However, aside from your own problem with a descision involving you and to be honest, I haven't read either your rp's or Slayers, simply because I was too busy with the EC.
As for bookings, yeah, Treize always has had trouble booking a card for the Shockers Event after a PPV.
Though maybe you can help me. Seeing as you are the person in the middle here. Maybe you can ask the people that are unhappy to PM me with their problem. I will not discuss it with any other creative staff member and I will keep it between the person with the complaint and me. They have my word. I know it doesn't mean much, giving your word on the internet, but I personally believe in honour and I well never betray their trust.
I really hope that they come forward to me with their problem, because I am very willing to help them out as much as I can. I can't promise anything, but I will try to help them as much as possible.
I have only been back into the swing of things for 2 weeks, but let me assure you that never EVER has Treize made a biased descision. He doesn't favour anybody. Not even me. So I really want that to be know to everybody that Treize is a very honest guy.
