Reading 2600 Usergroup.

Update 18/03/03:
----
Please forgive the temporary hosting provider, wont be here much longer....

Last month (March 03) a couple of London 2600 people came to the meet and dragged me to the London meet. I think that I will continue attending it monthly. If there are people from the Reading area who would like to go to the London meet, Feel free to join me at the below location and we can travel in a group. Ill be in the bar from 6pm and leave to go to the meet just before 7pm

If there are people who cant make it to London on the 1st Friday, send me an email and maybe if a few people are interested we could meet on another day.

----

For those who do not know what 2600 is, check here. If you are interested in IT Security, Open source systems, Hacking etc, you owe it to yourself to come along.

Meetings are held on the first Friday of every month, starting at 6pm.
Meet up in the Afro Bar, Merchants place, just off Friar Street, Reading. It is not hard to find, it is pretty much opposite "Smelly Ally" and McDonalds.
Look for someone with a copy of IT week, Linux journal or something else geek related on the table.

Location Information.
Parking is available in the NCP car park, less than a minuets walk away.
Reading station is approx two minutes walk away.
Net access is available from Quakes, less than 2 minutes walk away.
Beer is available from more sources than you can shake a stick at.

Plan.
--Updated : Please read above--

Go for a few Beer's, and talk tech.
Things can evolve from there, and everything is normally more fun when its beer fuelled. Drinks will probably be had in the Afro-Ba as it will be the closest place and is quite empty at that time of day.

Email me here if you have any questions, just to express interest or to join the mailing list.
