Firstly we can't apologise enough 4 the great big cock-up this evening! We are genuinely gutted and were really looking 4ward 2 this evenings entertainment and we really hope we haven't caused 2 much hassle 4 u all!! Lemme explain exactly what went wrong...
well.. it all started on a windy day with this wonderful angel (that's me, steph) The beautiful angel and her equally as beautiful (although she had metal through her lip) punky, friend decided to do something really good for mankind and provided the townsman (and women) of Reading with 4 wonderful bands to entertain for an evening by playing beautiful music...
So the Angel and the Punky one worked their little bottoms off for a long, long time, to ensure everything was perfect 4 the towns people. On the day of the wonderful event the Angel squeezed a P.A, plus 2 heavy speakers, a couple of helpers and other random stuff into her beautiful (but petrol-starved) car and drove a whole hour to the wonderful venue 'The Face'...
However, when she arrived at 'The Face' a very mean man came outside and told the angel they couldn't hold the wonderful gig that evening, as he had totally forgotten about it and had the builders in to perfect the toilets. Determined that this minor hiccup wouldn't stop the gig from going ahead that evening, the wonderful Angel quickly informed the mean man that she was sure all the townspeople would 'go' b4 they came, but alas, the mean man was having none of it...
and that is how it all happened. However some good may have come out of it all, as the mean man turned out 2 be not so mean, and told the Angel they could do good for man-kind the following week(??!!) *, and now the Punky one and the Angel are hoping their loyal friends will not be too cross with them and will attend the next gig?
Once again we are really, really sorry and hope u won't judge us on this one pants night!! we'll have more info bout the next gig up in a few days, so please check back!! lot's of love, Steph and Hannah x x x * We're pretty sure the townsfolk will prob b going to the Rancid gig 2 b entertained by them though?
