bands and fans
i read a log today about a girl that met Gc. Im happy that she got to meet them, but im pissed cause i dont know how many letters we send them, begging them to come and do a show here, and it feels like they have never even put it in thought. I mean, i know its not their fault that they cant make it here, but, it would be awesome if they could. It must be nice to live in a place that bands love to go, or live in the states cause bands go every where in the states. it must be nice to be able to drive or get a ride to the nearest town or city that the band is playing. but here in guam you cant do that. the nearest thing to drive to is the beach and if you go any farther you'll sink or drown. and guam doesnt have allot of money, so i dont think bands put any thought about it here. It sucks cause' the people here are just as big music fans as the people in europe and japan and the united states. but since we live in a place that is not as "popular" as japan and europe and the untited states, we have to suffer. I would do anything to see the warped tour. i would do anything to see the ozzfest. but the bands that "care" about their fans only care about the fans that live in certain places. and while i and allot of other people are here suffering, i think its bull that you have to live in Japan, Europe, United States, and Australlia to see one of your favorite fucking bands. When Youth Authority gets known, i hope we never get caught up in publicity, and always remember the people that arent as fortunate to meet the people they practicly live for. I hope someday i do meet Gc, and all the other punk bands that kicks ass! but i guess till then im just gonna dream all day, of rock & roll weekends.
i got that from social distortions story of my life. hehe
