The Exotics of Porsche

The car that looks like a bug and goes faster than some cars double its size came from the Volkswagen. You can tell the similar looks from the Beetle and the 356 Porsches first car. Volkswagen wanted a performance in their cars so they created the “Sports Version” of the Volkswagen. Ferdinand Porsche worked for VW and he was a brilliant man for its expertise, he created some of the first car designs and engines. VW wanted Porsche to be involved in the performance part of VW; Porsche first performance car was the 356. The car was made into production in 1959, it was created before hand but delays were solved and the car was finally made with 66 Hp, top speed at 155 Km/ph. In those days the car, it was an amazing and fast production car. Porsche created more 356s like GT and supers. The VW kind of grew into separate directions and the name Porsche was found by the CEO. Porsches son took over dads business just before he died. The Porsche is very famous for the cars they make because people think of them as exotic but they are the champions of the 24-Hour races. Porsches new design, that has made Porsche the name of a car that is a must have. The 911, the bug eyes and the shape of a frog; small car that can pass cars like the Ferrari, Benz and Fords in 24 Hour races. People in the racing with low budget say if you want to win the 24-hour race you have to buy a Porsche 911. The first 911 was produced in 1964, there are three types of the 911, the Tagra, the Carrera, the Coupe and the Turbo. There are other 911 but some people don’t really call them 911. From 1964-1968 Porsche was improving its performance in the 911 models, going to 2.0 to 3.2 turbo engines. In 1986 the Porsche went to the extreme and created the ultimate car, 4 wheel drive, 450 HP and more technology in it than the shuttle it self. Porsche wanted to test the new all great spots car so they entered in World Rally Championship, which they won. In 1988 they went with the 911 body and created a convertible called the Speedster, not the most powerful or the fastest of the age but it was beautiful. Porsche just made the 911 with better handling and more power, the 911 models and the Porsche was known for its engine in the back. Porsche decided to move the engine to the front and give it more power, 928 weren’t famous when they started out in 1977 but later the world caught up with the 924, 928 and the 968 in the 1990’s. They weren’t famous because of their poor handling and Porsches desperation to success in the Auto Industry once again. The front car engine was cheap for a Porsche, but I consider them the best of Porsche because of their effort and the design is unlike any other car I’ve seen. The car is simply great, 911 are the dream cars and the Boxster is the ultimate run away car. The Boxster is the first car Porsche calling it by a name instead of a number; Boxster is a 2.5-2.7 litter 204-220 Hp, convertible. I didn’t mention all the Porsche cars because it would take maybe 20 pages of this report but I mentioned the cars that were the uphill and the downhill for Porsche. Porsches are exotic because Germans, the makers, take more than just few months to develop a car that will be called a Porsche. Porsches take couple of years to be made, to be perfect and to perform like a $60,000+ car.
