-Who LOST CAUSES is-

In March of 2003, Trevor and Tick were looking to start a new street punk insurgency in the musically waning town of Las Cruces, NM. In front of a cloudless southwestern horizon, they set up their gear for what would be their first practice in Andy’s (the original drummer’s) living room. As the three were figuring out what to play first, a guy walked into the house carrying a cooler full of beer and a notepad full or words, it was Curtis Rofo.

By chance, after the departure of Andy, Tick and Trevor ran into a young mohawked drummer whose name was Sam. After being christened Sammy Boy, LOST CAUSES, with little downtime, picked up where they left off.

-What LOST CAUSES is-

LOST CAUSES play a brand of street punk that is dirty-intense, dogged with energy, faster than sin, akin to old ’85 skater punk. The shows are non-stop momentum; the songs are abrupt, lean, and get right down to what the fuck it’s all about. (Without taking themselves too damn seriously.) It’s drunken songs about real life--about existing in New Mexico as a Lost Causes Scallywag!

We play to anyone that will listen. We play for anyone who understands. Sucka!
