so lets see what is there to say. my name is david, im 16, i got to a catholic concentration camp, im agnostic, dont like pictures to be taken of me, i like punk.
What is punk?
Punk is a type of music, look, belief system, way of life. Punk has gone through many changes over its life as all things do. The many tribes are diffrent, but get along. Its not that you need to be a clone of everyone else... its just there are bassic guidelines, you could say. For example music about getting dumped, girls, and getting dumped are not punk if you want that go listen to fucking emo! For example your ability to believe in any higher power is you choice (most dont worship a higher power), a needing to live your own life and to do as you want(no laws, anarchy, that basic idea... no more cops ya ya ya you've heard it before), whatever idea of anarchy you want(world peace, chaos, others) i personaly have then world peace idea mixed with the chaos. the hole appearence concept isnt needed you can ahve a mohawk, dyed hair, all that stuff if you want or you could not have it all your decision.
What is emo? you might be asking youself... personally emo is evil. emo is short for emotional, the entire name is emotionaly charged alternative rock. its roots came from earily punk but was drasticaly change, minor threat(a great band) had a hand in making this monstrosity. they promoted a clean living life style known as strait edge(dont smoke, dont drink, dont fuck) but after they broke up bands 2 members formed were the begining of emo with ahrdcore music and whiney lyrics. strait edge has become the official life style of emo. if you want to know what emo is listen to dashboard confessional, the ataries, saves the day, alkaline trio, or jsut type in emo in a search engin or emo bands and youll get something. emo kids are generally noticeable by their think rimmed glasses with no lenses, depressed look all the time, clothes from the 70's and 80's and other signs that you can research if you feel compelled to do so.
