An important aspect of college is personal goals. Over the next four to five years I plan to get a degree in a field of interest that will assist me in getting a career that will be successful and enjoyable. Another goal I have is to be able to completely support myself by the end of college. I do not want to be dependant on my parents after college.

My short term goals for this semester are:

1) Learn to write better papers

2) Learn more about myself through watching my actions towards others

3) Discover what my passions are in terms of a major

4) Have more confidence when giving a speech

5) Be able to apply what I learn to every day life
