Sweet 16
you have been anxiously waiting for this all year
and now the day you've been waiting for is finally here.
You can chill with your friends and be of good cheer,
and you get a chance to be with those you hold dear.
you've reached the sweet sixteen, as they all say.
i know for sure, that you'll remember this day.
at this time, you've reached a key turning point...
...in less than 2 years you'll be ready to blow this joint.
you've blessed people around you for 16 whole years...
you've enriched the lives of others, and all of your peers.
you're an amazing person, with so much to give,
you help others see how important it is to live.
there are some people who'll never do as much as you,
and you're only sixteen...what'll you be doing when you're 32?
i can see it now...there's great things ahead of you...
and I know that you'll succeed wherever life takes you to.
so here I am, wishing you the best birthday ever,
I hope that this day stays with you forever.
so the last thing I want to say is HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
