This is me, Joe Aherns. I am 17 years old, and I'm currently a jounior at St. Croix Falls Highschool. I'm currently living on Long Lake, which is a mile outside of Centuria. I have 3 people in my family. My mom, Lori, my dad, Russ, and my sister, Lesley. Lesley is a freshman at the University of Minnesota, she is planning on majoring in the liberal arts.

My hobbies are playing guitar. I have been playing for a little over a year, which isn't a long time. But through this short year, my love and passion for guitar has grown tremendously. I also love to act. I have been in 4 high school plays. "The Crucible" in my 7th grade year, "Working" in my freshman year, "Rumors" in my sophmore year, and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" this year. Singing is also a huge part of my live. I am taking personal voice lessons in Stillwater every saturday, and from voice lessons, I go
to Minneapolis where I am taking part in a program called "The Prelude Singing and Acting Performance Lab" at a school called Macphail. When I'm not singing, acting, or playing guitar, I love to just sit around and listen to my favorite kind of music, Punk Rock. I don't know why I like the sound of mediocre guitar playing and off pitch singing, but I've been a fan of punk music since my 8th grade year. Although I love my punk music, if you live in my house you better be a fan of the blues. My parents are blues fanatics. You will always here Buddy Guy, Walter Trout, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and many other blues artist blasting from my parents stereo speakers. The picture above is a costum made Tom Delonge Signature Fender Stratocaster. That is the exact guitar model I own. Click on the guitar picture to check out some of my favorite punk and blues artists!
