Now, I know you're all wondering what in Ra's name possesed me to even LIKE this anime/manga. Well, I have one word. Okay, more like : 'EVIL ENGLISH DUBBING!!!!!!!'.
The show was actually quite dark, violent, and irnoically funny. TV-14. VERY GOOD TV-14.
The first season, I have yet to see. Poor me. (it was the one that never aired in the US.) So, I can't say anything about i. Tsk, tsk, Brit-chan....


SEASON 2 (Duelist Kingdom Arc): It was pretty good. For an awesome 'What you missed' for all the english fans who don't mind cursing/violence, go to Millenium Power. Trust me, it's worth the load-time wait.My pet peeves about the dubbing in this season are as follows:
#1- Yami's eyes are CRIMSON RED. NOT purple like Yuugi's!
#2- Guess? Bakura's eyes are dark cherry red, not brown like Ryou's!
#3- They edit out all the funny cussing and funny scenes with sexual humor. >.< grrrrr....
#4- IN GENERAL: They turned it from a good, teenager/adult show to a five year old's show, damn them!!!!!

SEASON 3 (Battle City Arc): Boy am I gonna bitch about this one..... Malik-chan (awww, urusai...) sounds like some idiotic, deprived 30-year-old in the english! NOOOOO! MY BEAUTIFUL HOT EGYPTIAN MALIK-SAMA!!!! *blinks**blush* Eh. Aaaanyways.

I LOVE this part of the sotry. It is, by far, the best season out of all three. Including: Yami's ancient egyptian ties, Another psychotic evil yami to deal with, (Marik; yami Malik.) much, much Bakura entrances, anfd A WHOLE FRIKKIN LOT OF DEATH AND VIOLENCE!!!! ^^ Yay for me.

Now, I have already threatened the people at 4kids. I sent them a letter telling them to get a new voice artist for Malik or I was jumpin' the ship, fan-wise. (which was a lie. I can always mute it just tpo look at his face.) Still, they prounounced his damn name wrong! *cries* It's NOT Merik! It's Malik! MALIK, I TELL YOU!

I majorly fear the appearence of Marik, because they can't include all of the killing/torturing he does t people/his evilness in general. The scene in the manga where he SKINS MALIK'S FATHER ALIVE was enough to make my skin crawl and make me want to throw up. Imagine showing it to little children. Talk about disturbing them for life.

My personal opinion is that they should have just played Yu-Gi-Ou at night during the adult time slots since it's so violent, dark, and has way too much sexual humor for kids. Granted, I love it. I'm glad they're playing at least one version. Though I WILL be buying the unedited DVDs when they come out someday. I wanna see the scene where (in the less-disturbing anime) Marik catches Malik's father's whip in mid-air, pulls the man towards him, and stabs him repeatedly. Who says violence isn't a good thing?

I am impressed with some of the scenes they left in, though. Like the one in the first episode you see Malik without the damn cape thing, he drops it TOTALLY. He looks like he's naked, but you can't tell. Oh my Ra. My mouth went dry at that scene and I just made a weird noise between a choke/laugh/"HOLY HELL YEAH!". It kinda... sneaks up on you.

One more thing to bitch about. In four words.
SLYFER THE SKY DRAGON?!?!?!?!??!
What was wrong with The God of Osiris, Saint Dragon?! Or just plain Osiris, or just plain Saint Drgaon?! ... grrrrrr.....

NOW!!!!!!!! My fave-y pairings! (yaoi content.)

I like all these pairings, so PAY ATTENTION!

Yami/Yuugi: Awwwww! How can you NOT like it?! Plus, it makes sense. Yami has a nice seperate body by the third season.... ^_____^

Bakura/Ryou: Yet again, awwwwwww! Just a bit more of a psythocitc couple.

Marik/Malik: Do you see a pattern? This one is just alot of insanity rolled into one, so I love it.

(I like these aswell!) Other pairings I like:
Seto/Jou: ..... one word. Puppy-love. ^^

Malik/Bakura or Bakura/Malik: Ooooh yeah! Two psychos! FUN!

And combintation of Bakura/Malik/Ryou/Marik (aka- Bakura/Ryou, Marik/Ryou, Malik/Ryou, Marik/Bakura, Marik/Malik, Malik/Bakura, ect!): Okay, these are just hot. Irresistably hot.

THREESOMES:
Ryou/Bakura/Jou: I first saw it inone of Digi-Puppy's fics, and I've loved it ever since! And in the event that THIS pairing is in a story, I like....

Yami/Seto/Yugi: Oh, come on. Can't you see the attraction there?! And the little hidden lines in the show, too. Like this one: Yami: Sometimes, enemies can become friends, and even more....

Yugi: *giggle*Yeah!
