The Cruel Irony of Parental Controls

Brit here! I have finally figured out that my computer's parental controls have gone HAYWIRE. I tend to read fics that are a bit violent, understand? well, I write ficcies. One in particular, which I discontinued cause it SUCKED, my internet settings wouldn't let me read. Odd, ne? my parental settings won't let me read my own ficcies, yet they let me read fics that have mentally scarred me. Like this one fic called Diary of a Killer, it was a GW fic. I had friggin nightmares about that one, and it's hard to disturb me. VERY hard. Whoever wrote it has some serious pent up anger and a screwed mind is all I have to say. It was NC-17 for GORE ALONE. *shudders* Bad memories. Needless to say, I stopped reading it after the first couple of chapters. Plus, they killed off Duo first, and that made me mad. ANYWAYS, back to the subject. For the longest time, my computer wouldn't even let me into THIS SITE! As if! There isn't ANYTHING wrong here! Yet it lets me stumble onto other things... *shifty eyes* Bottom line:

AOL PARENTAL CONTROLS ARE SCREEWWWEEDDD!!!!! AAAHAHAHAAA!!!!! *twitch* This is what three packs of pixie sticks and a 2 liter of dew will do to ya!
