Attending Atlantis Music Confrence

Well Nothing To Prove broke up recently so they are no longer on the label. And all attempts to work with the other bands have failed recently, so we are parting ways. Plus this town is just kinda against the label. So I'm starting over new sometime in the future. When? Beats me, when the time or place is right. Heck, the next event may be in Calif. for all I know. But for all those who have supported in the past and recently let me know that you still support, thank you.

I just got tired of the guestbook. Overall, it was a negative element. Here it is, you like the label, support it and visit the site. If not, stop visiting. All these negative actions/comments towards the label are ruining the efforts of this label. We are trying to help bands, and I am tired of people bashing it. The label is now moving on. Yes, it has been awhile since things have occured with the label. But it's summer now, so we are trying to get things back to speed. Keep checking the site for updates.

I usually keep politics away from my label, but this even calls for some action. The draft is in the covert process of being reinstated. I am not willing to be shipped to Iraq and kill the innocent. I value my life and potential too much to waste my time and risk my life doing that. So, I want ALL of you to at least look at the following link. Stop The Draft! Hope you all will not let this make any judgements. We are all allowed to have our own beliefs. I will never judge you, please don't judge me.

Went to the Against Me! show last nite at the echo lounge. Awesome show. Despite All This... opened. Probably their best show, if not, then second. I updated their link on the Links page. Check out their site and go pick up thier CD. It's only $6, what you got to lose?

To clear up some rumors, here's is some info for all you music makers and lovers. Yes, Flying Penguin Records™ was hired by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to do a christian festival called Faith Fest 2004. Yes, Slick Shoes, Disciple, Side Walk Slam, One-21, 7-10 Split and others were going to play the show (that is a fact). Yes, the show has been cancelled by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It was cancelled due to their lack of venue, lack of funding, and lack of faith in the show. Flying Penguin Records™ sincerely apologizes to all that were looking foward to this show. We were as excited as you were and are as disappointed as you are. But check out the new shows on the Shows page.

Bad news and good news today. The Sand Pirates Of The Sahara has broken up. But the good news is that they have formed two new bands, Docking Bay 94 and Ann-thannath. So check them out at a show. Also, the L.M.A. show at the masquerade last Saturday was amazing. The L.M.A. consists of Armani Death Machine, Take As Needed, Level, and Downpour. I highly recommend you check these bands out! And a new show has been added to the Shows page. The Bands, Links, Merch, and About Us page has been updated.
