life in a snowglobe

a month in the city that never sleeps and i've managed to stop walking in the wrong direction- almost.... take a glance at the picture- just down from the top right corner of the park and then add 4 more blocks to the right and viola...home sweet home. i have to unlock 2 doors just to get in my building and then my super bolted apartment door. i live on the 3rd floor of a 6 floor walk-up...meaning- that by the time i have walked the 6 blocks from the subway and gotten to the 2nd floor landing- i have to use all will-power to make it up the last few flights to my door... and the inside of my apartment...i bet you think that i live in a closet. well then i would have to say that you are almost correct...there is one main room that is the kitchen/dining rm/living rm. but it's a beautiful brownstown that's been fully restored- and just like my baby bro suggested- my sleeping bag hangs great inside my closet- i sleep as peaceful as an astronaut.... the upper east side is wonderful. i live between 2 busy avenues (2nd and 3rd) but it's slower up here. the park is 4 blocks away and there's a ton of bars close by....which is nice when stubling is involved....
