Started Skating when I realised how awesome it was to skate. Luke was my friend, and he was skating 2 years, and I was also friends with Nate Carter and Andrew "COS" Bried, and they all got me into skating. Luke provided the board and bearings, Nate the trucks and wheels. It's been downhill from there... As far as my DooMed Squad origin goes, I'm the first of the three "Would be DooMed Kids". It started with me wanting to just have a crew to skate with. I pulled a couple kids in, but we weren't really a crew. Jut sorta a buncha kids. There are only two of us that survived that group; Me and Luke. We skated together forever, you know? Then later after Ben and us hooked up Ben me and Luke pulled together one last crew thingy, the gay old "NWR Skate Team". Ben got his first cam corder and recorded me and Luke. We didn't know what we were doing. Then David came along many months later to straighten things out. He helped us organise ourselves and stuff and we tried to come up with a better crew name. We thought of "Overrated Skate Crew". This line up wouldn't change until after we finished "DooM on YOU!" Right near the completion of DooM on YOU!, we all started writing "DooM" on our boards, and me and David one day thought of changing the name of the crew to our final name, The "DooMed Squad". Me and Luke are the Originals of the Originals, the NWR, Overrated, and DooMed Days. Ben is an Original in the beginnings of the Crew, the End of NWR, beginnings of Overrated and DooMed. David is the original of the DooMed Squad and the Overrated days, being a new member when we changed it to Overrated. To put it this way, Me David, Luke and Ben are the grassroots of this squad. Peace.
Hey, one more thing... Don't judge people by their outward appearance. I've got some awesome friends who are so ugly or dress so wierd. I used to be the most hated kid in school, but not anymore. I don't wanna meet anyone that was as lame as the people I was made fun of by. Next time you see a kid alone at lunch, go talk to him; say hi, I bet if ya let him he'll become one of the truest friends you'll ever know. Don't do things because others do it, do it because you want to. If you truly feel it's worth it, go for it. Live for your own personal accomplishments, not for the acceptance of your peers. I have so many friends now, but I still am friends with my old ones. I'd rather hang out with them than some skaters any day. They are my true friends. I hang out with a select few skaters, The Doomed Squad. I wouldn't have hung out with them if they decided to make fun of my other friends, no matter how cool or popular they are. My goal in life: be less popular than that kid Eugene in "Grease".
