Hello there everyone, yes its a new informative news update here. We want to let everyone know that we are working on a brand new website. We realize the site has been pretty boring and for sure lacking updates as many of you have complained about. The new site should be very cool and Jason has been working with his close friend and computer genius Nick to develop an eye catching, informative site. Our new webmaster Peter, is really pumped up about building the site as well. On the note of webmasters, we would like to give huge props to Brandon who started and ran our site from its beginning. Brandon dedicated a lot of time to strungout.com and we just want to say thank you for all those years of doing so. Brandon needed to pass the reins on as he has become much to busy with his own business and family to fully dedicate enough time to the site. We wish you the best and we know you will always be a Strung Out fan and our friend. Well, what to expect from the new site? Jason says "The new site will feature more interaction with the band, exlusive merchandise, new videos, Mp3s, lifestyle pictures, and whatever other cool shit we can think to put on so stay tuned for a new chapter"  As of right now, we are gearing up for our European tour which starts May 16th in the UK and of course will be a great time. We will continue to stay busy with Australia in July and a US/Canadian tour in August thru September. We still are working on making plans for Costa Rica  as well as looking into the possibilities of getting over to South Africa. Oh ya, Japan is in the works for October. Its been five years since weve been to Japan and we cant wait to get back there. Our "Live In A Dive" live CD is set to come out in June and we are all proud of how well it turned out. The track listing has been posted on fatwreck.com and everyone seems to be pretty satisfied with the song selection. It was a tough time picking out what songs to use being we recorded 47 songs. We think everyone will be pumped on it for sure. Well, myself, Jake, Jason, Rob, and Chris just want everyone to know how much we appreciate everyone's continued support and we look forward to seeing everyone at a show ...im gonna shut up now cause this is really long but at least it gives you guys and gals some info. Stay tuned.....

Some News from Jordan!!

Hello there everyone !!! Just wanted to give you all a little information on what we have been up to lately. We haven’t played any shows in a little while now and we are for sure looking forward to playing again starting in mid March. We have been working on the "Live in a Dive" Cd and it is coming along quite well. We are working with Chris Vrenna and were quite honored that he is doing our CD. Chris was the drummer from NIN and has now worked with TONS of huge acts such as Metallica, Megadeth, Motley Crue, Weezer, U2, Hole, Etc.... and of course his own band Tweaker. Live in a Dive has a TENATIVE release date of June 3rd so we hope it stays on schedule. Jason has been designing the artwork and storyline for the comic book and its looking awesome. I have seen the cover for it and i always feel so lucky that we have not only a very talented singer/song writer in the band but an incredible artist as well. In our spare time, each of us have been doing our own thing. I’ve been going to all the recent rounds of the Supercross Series supporting our motocross team "Moto XXX" and doing a bunch of riding as well. I once again beat my friend Steve Caballero in this years Crossover Challenge race by one position. He promises me that will not happen again at next year’s race. Rob has been busy working on the set of American Pie 3.Chris has been delivering some pizza's here n there in Simi Valley, singing tons of Karaoke, getting drunk and carried out of bars. Jake has been playing his guitar non stop writing new songs, doing bongs and giving guitar lessons. And Jason has been skating a lot, giving tattoos, and creating incredible artwork. We have been doing a bunch of practicing as well and have 8 new songs as of right now. We hope to possibly be ready to record for a new CD sometime towards the end of the year for a 2004 release. Well i suppose that’s about all i can think of at this time. For anyone that has been purchasing our merchandise from www.merch.com, we would be interested in hearing your feedback on the message board as to how satisfied you've been with them. We think they are doing an excellent job but would like to actually hear from some of you people making purchases with them. Any ideas are welcome as well. Just post on the message board. We may not always post or respond there but we do read it quite often. Anyhow, thanks to everyone for your continued support for our band. Its much appreciated. Hope to see everyone at a show down the road.

Take care.....
