White Rain Anti-Frizz Gel, Perfect Pearberry - this goo smells wonderful but won't do shit in the way of sticking your hair up. Though I think it would look good if you had shoulder-length hair and were going for the "wet look".
Suave Non-Aerosol Hairspray, Herbal Care Chamomile, Arnica & White Ginger - smells like summertime and does a pretty good job holding hair. Won't keep it spiked straight up, but if you're going for that disheveled "indy chic" look, it's perfect.
physique HIGH hold wax - stays on your hands forever and makes hair droopy. You'll probably pay too much for the piece of crap anyway.
Elmer's White Washable School Glue - lots of punks have told me this works--perhaps it does, if you dunk your head in a bucket of it. Hey, at least it's washable.
Elmer's Rubber Cement - DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PUT THIS IN YOUR HAIR. Oh, it'll stick up a mohawk all right. Then you get into the shower to wash off, and it doesn't go anywhere. Yep. Just sits there...mocking you. I guess if you're one of those punks who hangs out in front of certain fast-food restaurants demanding spare change and not bathing, this might be the product for you. Otherwise, forget it.
Egg Whites - this works for a short while, for hair up to about 5 or 6 inches. You'll need a friend to hold the hair straight while you blow-dry it to set, however. It probably smells funny--that's why you spray it with sweet-smelling hairspray.
