They played together for a while, and even released an EP. But soon enough, the time had come. It was time for them to move on, move on to different colleges, that is. And that was it; Kresge temporarily moved to New Jersey, people sort of assumed that A.F.I was dead.

ALAS! During school holidays, the band got back together for a one-off reunion concert...the repsonse was so great that A.F.I decided to quite school to pour all their concentration into music. Yay!

A few singles later, and the band had their first album - Very Proud of Ya - in 1996. They made 2 LP's in 1997 - Answer That & Stay Fashionable...Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes - Kresge left (he was replaced by Hunter) and then Stopoholese left, and now in his place sits Jade Puget.

The new lineup recorded an EP titled A Fire Inside in 1998, and issued a full-length album in 1999, Black Sails in the Sunset. A year later came 'Art of Drowning'. Their latest album, 'Sing The Sorrow' was released in March 2003. A.F.I are now constantly touring!
