Liberty to Drink

A Tribute to the 21st Amendment

Most constitutional scholars agree that the 1st Amendment is the most important Amendment to the United States Constitution.  This Amendment guarantees our rights to free speech, religion and assembly.  It protects us from being subjected to a totalitarian government, which the people of many other countries have been forced to live under.  It is a very good, very important Amendment.

However, my personal favorite amendment is the 21st Amendment: the repeal of the Prohibition of alcohol.  This amendment shows us that we as a nation will try policies that are intended to improve our self, but if it doesn’t work, we will admit it and get rid of these policies.

My friends and myself enjoy this right to a great extent.  I have taken many pictures of us doing so in the past few months.  I hope you enjoy looking at them as much are we did when we took them.
