Salad Bar, is a gangsta rap outfit straight from the inner city of North Dakota. They are quickly making a name for themselves in the rap world, with their unique blend of horribly over used, snotty four chord punk rock, played in a jawbreaker meets the bay city rollers fashion. The group formed when freestyle whiz Haysoos "masta beta " Crispies, crossed paths with local street rapper The "The Rock Star " Rock Star. The two of them met, after Haysoos stabbed the Rock Star in a razor blade fight over who would win in a fight, Samantha from bewitched or Mary-Ann from Gilligan 's island (we don 't get why either). After yelling at The Rock Star for "bleeding on his mother fucking pumas " the two of them got to talking and realized they had a lot in common. One shared interest stood our more than all others however, their love for pastry making !. oh yeah they both rap too. The thought had occurred to both of them about working together, but nothing definitive had been planned until the two met a young DJ while on the way to their flaky crust seminar. His name , was DJ Jaylord , well originally it was actually DJ Jaylord master of all things cream filled, but later Haysoos and TR shortened it to just Jaylord. Now as a threesome of fresh young studs, the group was complete. The only thing left to do was to start making music, and start they did. The 3 of them started writing beats in Haysoos ' under water recording studio "20,000 beats under the sea, " and the rest was history ..

Until some more stuff happened. The group finished writing, and were truly pleased with what some critics might call "mediocre " or "a half assed piece of crap", these guys aren 't even actually rappers!  since they knew it was the best they could do. With the songs done, the only thing left to do was to record and tour. Two things that they can be seen doing in the near future. Salad bar is playing some local dates at a venue near you (if you 're local), launching the "up in salad tour" and will be recording their first ep, "self titled " sometime within the next month. Salad Bar, fresh on the scene (pun very much intended), to show those dirty south rappers exactly why the north won. North Coast fo 'eva!
