Chuanga Beach, near Metangula on Lake Niassa: sweet water. Bar, restaurant and houses to stay in (all local construction)on the beach at "Complexo Cetuka" owned and run by Catharina and Catawalla- other houses available to rent.

Massangulo

On the road from Mandimba to Lichinga, the site of the famous (well, relatively) Massangulo cathedral, built without cement. Roadside bars, beers, soft drinks and snacks available.

Muembe

On the road North to Chiconono and Mavago, restaurant with good food, cold beer and lots of kids. Fantastic scenery, and local tree nurseries to visit.
