#430 FOR HARDCORE PUNKS EVERYWHERE

NOW i'm not saying that boys aren't allowed. On the contrary PUNK BOYS are very much welcome and encouraged to join in on any and all discussions.

The reason for this site/zine came about after i ran into and hooked up with my best friend,from school, a couple of years ago. I realized that we both still had a love for and commitment to the punk rock/skater scene. i also realized after we moved in together and with the help of his extensive record and CD collection that there were still A LOT of punk bands out there i'd never heard of. Wanting to listen to everything punk: i didn't know where to start. And thumbing through all the stacks wasn't helping any.

Finally, i just started picking and one by one i've found a whole world full of sounds and ideas. political affiliations anarchists. STRONG WOMEN screaming out their demands. Fake women crooning drivel and playing dress-up. Pig-like men spouting nonsense from their pants and out their asses. And BEST OF ALL real men and women who know what it's about and how to have fun! And that no matter what you're into to or who you support you can always find a punk band or bands out there shouting about it.

WHICH brings us to our first set of topics for the zine. Send me your ideas; essays; articles and rants and i'll get them all together and post them*. If you're a seasoned punker from way back and you want to share your knowledge and opinions: DO IT HERE!!! If you're a beginner baby punk and you don't know where to start:FIND IT HERE!!! If you're a girl or boy that's going out with a punk rock cutie and you don't know which CD of theirs to pick:FIGURE IT OUT HERE!!! If you're a punk rock grrl and you want to pass down you're wisdom to all the misguided little ones:BY ALL MEANS USE US AS YOUR VESSEL!!! If you're a punk lesbian or gay boy and you want to get something off your chest:UNLOAD IT HERE!!! If you review shows and you want somewhere to put them:BRING 'EM ON!!! Know of any good shows or punk/tattoo/fetish/freak gatherings going on and want to get the word out:LET ME KNOW!!! I'm more than willing to advertise shows and stores/sites for free. If you want to HOOK UP with other punk rockers: SEND YOUR BIO**!!! i'll post it. Have some old stuff you want to unload: POST IT HERE IN OUR CLASSIFIED SECTION**!!!!

*This site/zine is a continual work in progress. I am willing to post just about anything and everything. But i ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to print or pass along any sexist/racist or homophobic materials!! Submit such material at YOUR OWN RISK YOU SICK DIRTY BASTARD!!! **Site just started so personals and classifieds aren't up yet. I'll put them up as soon as i get them. Site will be updated constantly and hopefully the first full issue of the zine will be up and running in a couple of months. If not sooner. 4/24/02 UPDATE: Fiqured out until I start getting more material and articles I'm going to start compiling a huge links and lyrics list. i'm not the best political writer-never claimed to be and being a mother of a 10 mth old planning a wedding: I don't really have the time or money to go to out to every punk show like i used to. So I'm contributing to this site in the most productive way that I can. And I hope you will, too. SO LET'S GET THIS THING UP AND RUNNING PEOPLE!!!!!
