This was like enemy grounds for us. Most people here hated us, and already had a set opinion about us that we are "racist homophobes" as Vinny from Sexwax (in my old band FIVE CENT DIMES) yelled when our power "mysetriously" went out. While we were on stage, we had people moshing to mock us, throwing shit at us, and making fun of the way we wore our hats, which I thought was fuckin great. I loevd being made fun of and it was an awesome feeling, just to see that we had the balls to play where we're not wanted. So many people went up to Sergio and said "ARe you really gonna let them play!?!?!" And were really pissed about it, but Sergio, who is fuckin awesome, was like "Hey fuck you they're playing". We got dirty looks most of the time, but we had about 25-30 fans of ours already there, and they were supporting us, singing and all that shit the whole time, which makes it all worth it to us.We loved that. Kenny was really pissed because he ahd a new bass and people kept throwing boxes at it, but other than that we had a great time...
OTHER NOTES....
-This place was probably the shittiest place we've ever done a show, and the first outdoor show we've done, but it was so fuckin cool, I wanted to play there so bad when I saw it....
-We finally found out who the HERPES kid is, and he drove by us about 3 times yelling shit at us. When we got back to the place, I pulled him aside and talked to him to find out why the fuck he was screaming at us. We talked and got everything resolved.
