Hey y'all. This will probably be a small page because there's not a lot to say about me. My name is Meredith Hitchcock. My good friends Steffer Heffer and Britty Kitty call me Mere Bear...just because we're weird. Let's see. I could be classified as one of those people who are smart but have ZERO common sense. Blonde in every sense of the word, that's me and Steph and Britt...even though Britt doesn't have blonde hair. My favorite food is chicken, and I don't eat any meat except for chicken. The music I listen to is basically classified as punk/rock, even though I'm pretty preppy. That's something I won't deny. I can't help what kind of music I like though. My favorite bands as of now are New Found Glory, Good Charlotte, Sugarcult, The Vandals, The Ataris, Weezer, and Saves the Day.
Hmm...Well I go to Catholic Central, even though I live in Toronto. I like Toronto, but some of the people don't like me 'cause I go to Central. Go figure. I'm a junior this year. Finally an upperclassman, or in my case upperclassgirl.
I play softball for CCHS, I'm a pitcher, and I used to play volleyball, but this year I switched to soccer for lack of a volleyball coach. I loved it. It was so fun, even though I basically destroyed the sport (I was terrible). I got a yellow card (yeah buddy!) in the final game, Big Red vs. CCHS! I also do stats for boy's basketball for CCHS. I love it! It's the best job in the world! Last year, for softball we were great. We had the most wins in Central's softball history, 22-6. We were OVAC champions for the 3rd time in 4 years. We were sectional champs, district champs, and regional runner-ups. We won the city championship. My personal favorite, however is beating Toronto!! That was my best game becuase I was so motivated. Muahaha. I had 17 k's 2 walks and my first no-hitter. Central's summer team that I play on also came in 1st place in the Wheeling league we're in. This year, we finished with a record of 17-8, and started I think 4 freshman. This was basically a rebuilding year I guess you could call it with losing 6 seniors to graduation, and then two girls who are seniors getting injured in "freak accidents". We were still city champs, and sectional champs, but we were district runner-ups in a very controversial game versus the team we lost the OVAC championship game to.
I also play softball for Edison's summer travel team, the Ohio Valley Hurricanes. Each weekend we traveled to a different city, sometimes a different state and play in a tournament. Our first tournament in Zanesville, we came in 2nd place. We didn't do great after that in Champion, OH, Cincinati, OH, Amherst, NY, and Loudonville, OH. In Stow, OH, however we came in 1st place!!! Go us!! Our last tournament in Portsmouth, Virginia, AKA Virginia Beach, didn' go too well, but hey we got to play at the beach after the games! This year, we start the summer season off with the Zanesville tournament, and our season continues as follows: Champion, OH; Beaver Creek, OH; Sluggerfest in Cincinati, OH; Carlise; Loudonville, OH; and Portsmouth, VA.
Let's see. I really really really love cows. They are by far my favorite animals! When I grow up I wanna have a farm, but not live on it, and have like 300 cows. I'm gonna paint em all hot pink. And on my farm there's not going to be any fences so my cows can all roam free. And I don't want them to be smelly so I'm going to go to NY and recruit a bunch of homeless people and pay them a lot of money to clean my cows and get rid of the poop. Then I'm gonna be an engineer and make a cow wash that my cows can just walk through and get clean. And I'm going to take pictures of them and put them in a cow calendar, called a cowedar.
I'm an evil chipperpillar, so you gotta be careful around me. Sometimes I'll nibble on your neck like a chipmunk, and other times I'll bat my eyes like a caterpillar. Beware. I may come in peace, but I have been known to hurt a person or two. (Not terminally of course!)
I am also a floozie for a band called Musik is fo fagz! Don't worry! I'm a NON-STD floozie so that makes all the difference!
