Fish And Chips Records has acquired a new band! "Down From Here" is a 3 piece acoustic-melodic rock band that draws its influences from bands such as Dashboard, Weezer, Counting Crows, Ataris, etc. They just finished up recording their not-yet-titled CD-R demo EP at Dan's House Studio yesterday and I was told the sound quality is astounding as is the musicianship. Next thing on the agenda is to hand-make some packaging and begin to distro!

Fish and Chips Records has been 'sponsored' by Dirtbag Clothing. Don't think we're going corporate here. The owner of the clothing company, Doug, is a real nice guy and he has a lot of good intentions to help small labels and the bands they work with. Check out his stuff at www.dirtbagclothing.com and use the coupon code 1000 to get 10% off any purchase. There is some talk around here about putting out a 7" in the next few months....more on that soon. Happy 4th of July, please don't drive intoxicated and kill anybody.

Flyers are circulating around the Valley for the up-and-coming compilation release show. You can get yourself a copy by clicking this link right here. Admission w/ a flyer is a dollar cheaper ($4)! Other than that, there hasn't really been too much going on w/ FnC other than me coming up with sticker designs. This is what I have so far:
