Up Coming Shows

Just keep your eyes open and bookmark this page. Depending on what we decide and what opportunities are available, you might get to hear us play yet another very unrehearsed show. We will make sure to have lots of sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll. (And your mom jumping out of a giant birthday cake wearing only her finest. . . Yum!)

Shows We Already Did

9:00 at Hannah Sziebel's house (bless her and her parents' soul). The address is 1015 Valentine Drive. Valentine is off of Fremont. Her house is on the first curve (about 1/2 mile after the turn off of Fremont) We played with 2 other bands, the sum of which contained Molly "The Giant" Knefel, Ryan "I-eat-babies" Lepp, Brad "Mad Kisser" Tigges, Christine "not-a-man" Heckmann, Hannah "I-rock-for-letting-people-I-don't-know-invade-my-house" Sziebel, and Lydia "No Mom" Pfaf. A good time was had by all and there were a lot of people there that I swear have been living under a rock for the last couple years (Where have you been all my life Aaron Steil?) Also adding to the good times had: Tony Becker faced a possible arrest, Kim Groves got into West Point, one of the Bentz's (Kristin?) got into the Naval Academy, the drum set kept on sliding away, many butts were video taped and crotches shot with squirt guns. Evan and Jesse went hardcore and started bleeding but pansy ass John didn't, Perkins for like the 5th night in a row, and more. Also kind of exciting. . . for some very entertaining reason, I'm sure, people decided to prove something/make some kind of statement by boycotting our portion of the show. All I have to say is, "Damn...I really wish you were there because both you and I know that I came that night looking exclusively for your face in the crowd and when I didn't see it...sigh...I was totally devistated and wanted to call you up right away (because I know your number by heart because I want to hang out with you all the time) and talk about what was wrong and what I could have possibly done to make you so upset that you would feel the need to just destroy my night by not coming...I think I'm gonna cry..."

8:00 at Jesse's house on the 24th of August. We were going to play outside, but then we had to move the instruments in because it rained. First Jesse's other band, Women in Revolt played, and did an excellent job. It should also be noted that a good number of people came because that band played. So thanks for bringing the turnout, guys. After them, your beloved My Brother Guido played with guest star and former MBG lead guitarist, T.J. "Wildman" Feldman. While great for you to listen to, it was even better for the Brothers who reportedly love to re-live those good old days. It is rumored that the Wildman maybe showing up for future shows not with a ticket in hand, but with his axe (guitar for all you lamo-s). However, John's guitar broke not to long after we started and took forever to fix, so the music in the middle of the set isn't that great. Post-MBG, the newest (and greatest) Dubuque band played, Three Hole Punch. This band boasts three accomplished rockers, veteran guitar slinger Andy Noll backed up by his girlfriend/Julien bassist, Jessica, and Kurto from Jerk Alert on drums. They certainly did deliver a punch and finished off the evening with true style. Thanks to all who attended, hopefully it was as fun for you to reminisce as it was for us. We couldn't have asked for anything better to finish off our last night before we separated for college.

2:00 May 19th at the Townclock Plaza. We played simultaneously with The Magnificent 7 (which we are also in). The word from friends, parents, radio-stations, and random strangers is that we sounded really thats exciting. We didn't play very many songs because of time, and everything broke (no, seriously, everything--an AHEAD drumstick, a cymbal stand, the bass pedal in numerous ways, 2 guitar strings). Jesse also went blind for some reason in the middle of the set. Thanks for coming if you came, even though there was a good crowd.

CANCELLED! Stitzer, WI on Saturday, April 27th. It's the same day as the play so it might be a long night for some people. We aren't officially signed up, but we will be soon.

Friday, April 20th at 7:30 in the courtyard at Dubuque Senior Highschool. We played first for 20 minutes. It was really fun and we sounded good apparently. If you were gone or couldn't make it, we have it on tape, so just ask, yo.

Wednesday, April 11. Us and them. Started at about 8, was well attended (as in EXTREMELY well attended. . . like 300 people in what should have been room for 100. It was overflowing up the stairs and out into the yard), hot as hell. We'll do it again sometime.

Stitzer, WI on March 23rd. This was a lot of fun, and John was there this time too. Thanks to Jerk Alert for letting us play.

Wednsday, March 21st. 9:25 to 10:40. We played three songs and "when i come around" with mop+k. It was a fun time. Lots and lots of people.

Stitzer's on Friday, February 16. This happened and it ruled. Lets hear it for Stitzers. Apparently someone videotaped it, so thats cool. Thanks to Jerk Alert and Julien. OUR FIRST REAL SHOW!! Come see us the next time we play, too.

CLARKE COLLEGE BATTLE OF THE BANDS was cancelled. Goddammit.

THE OFFICIAL SHOW COUNT: 11 (that I can remember)

More to come! If you have a party of any sort coming up, let us know at My Brother Guido
