So why was Friday Night Explodes REALLY released as an internet single?
Friday Night Explodes was withdrawn from commercial release a matter of days before it was due out. Soon afterwards it was released as a limited EP (2000 copies)from the official site and in downloadable MP3 format. The PR company released a statement which said it happened because the band wanted to thank the great online following it has. HOWEVER, as many suspected this was not true. Radio One had taken a great dislike to the song and were giving it very little airplay. The Record Company feared it was going to flop without the radio backing so they MADE THE BAND WITHDRAW the single against their wishes. In the words of Maxi "they were being wankers and it all went tits up." By this time 2000 had already been pressed so they were sold through the internet. The band continue to be upset by this decision.

When asked about the recent rumours that Maxi has been 'in the company' of girls as young as fourteen he said "Yes I have heard these rumours" and went very red. However, it has to be said that in the case of the most recent story making the rounds he didn't know her real age.

Sorry all but it has been confirmed that this was just a misprint. There has never been a song with this title NOR has it been used as a working title.

How come my 7" is limited to a thousand but has a higher number than that?
When it says 'limited to 1000' it only means in this country. It has been creating confusion cause KA cut DOUBLE the amount of 7". Half of them stay in this country and the rest go to Japan. However, some of the Japanese ones sometimes stay in this country and never make it over there. So we get numbers 1-1000 say and they get 1000-2000. Hense why some of the numbers are mixed up.

Some fans recently managed to get hold of Maxi's mobile number from an old g/f. However, I would like to confirm this number IS NO LONGER being used by him. The only way to contact the band is by writing to them or by email.
