So, the three of us have been in bands before, does anyone care about those bands now? Probably not, so we'll save you the ex-band list because it goes pretty deep. Captain Obvious started around May of 2000 because it seemed like a good idea. Every band any of us was in led up to this one. We were all sick of trying to sound like something specific and decided to just play what came out and what we liked. That ended up being the best idea. We released our first cd 2 months after being together. It has eight songs and it still sounds good to us. We will have a full length coming out by the end of the summer. We originally had another guitar player that split with us on not so good terms and we replaced him with a really cool kid named Max, but we realized that we should be a three-piece and had to let him go.
