the beach cleanup went good. a couple of people showed up and we were proud. we headed out at around 8 am and started cleaning the beach at around 10am. it was amazing that there was that much garbage on the beach. we even got a couple people to help us that were originally trying to enjoy the beach. so many sea creatures die each year because of ocean pollution. but , not only the creatures are in harm, coral reefs, which takes thousands of years to make can be destroyed by boat propelors and pollution. the beach is a sacred place for bird to fly in freedom, creatures to roam freely and sea turtles to lay thier eggs. we as humans, are interferring with thier habitat by polluting the beach. the least we can do is keep it clean and be respectful.thats one of our biggest accomplishments. after cleaning our mother earths surface we all ate pizza for lunch, provided by dominos pizza. we are hoping to have lots more cleanups in the future. special thanks to: darioismetal, elizabeth armstrong, dominos pizza, city of ft lauderdale, mhb(even though he didnt come) and ct
