Few things in this world compare to a feeling like this. Knowing that you lost a key figure in your life. Not someone particularly close to. Definately not in this situation but anyway...

Body found in grunge singer’s home

Sources identify man as Alice in Chains singer Layne Staley

SEATTLE, April 20 — A body was found at the home of Layne Staley, lead singer and guitarist for the Seattle grunge band Alice in Chains. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer quoted unidentified law enforcement sources as saying the body was Staley’s.

-Layne Staley has been confirmed dead today, April 20th. The cause of his death has yet to release. Yet knowing Layne's past drug addictions and slow decline in life, one can only guess how... A body was found in his home, but it had been there, decaying, for days. Of course, because of this, it was hard to discern who it was. This all happened, last night, friday April 20th. Alice in Chains music was overlooked by many, but they few who stayed to watch, to enjoy, see its beauty... And they will never forget it. You rocked, you kicked, you jammed, Layne. ROCK FOREVER ON!!!!!

1.) Yeah Tool's been whoring it out with the best of em on the radio waves. Only a year and they've got 3 songs out. But it's all good. Their work deserves the appropriate respect. The above images are from the video for their current release: Parabol/Parabola. Very beautiful song.

2.) There's been a wide a aray of people who seem to dislike me quite a bit recently, (yes much more than the usual). It's a disease that I've noticed, and it is spreading fast. The disease is called closed mindedness. Im sure the aforementioned people have never heard of the disease, and if they had, im sure they would not understand its meaning. And in case you were wondering, no i am not refering to the participants of the musical... Though they do dislike me a great deal. I like to think of their disease as the "The world revolves around me!" disease. But- no matter, i don't care much about those ones. Well that is all i have to say on that matter... for the time being.

3.) The next issue off concern is that of the insanely screwed up kind: Priest Molesting Children. Not only is this sickening but it just goes to show: something so straight edge even has a bump now and then. Here we have this religion. This religion of control and conformity. "You do the wrong thing and you will go to hell." Yet the people who force this ideal upon us are going against their very own word. And then there are such obscure questions raised as: Should we allow marriage among priests, in hopes that they will cease this behavior? Isn't that yet again against their very own beleifs? Is it not absurd that such a question would even be posed? The pope has requested a meeting of all U.S. Cardinals in Rome to discuss this very important subject; this subject of using and abusing trust of the young and confused.
