The time finally came, after four long years.
I SAW TOOL LIVE LAST NIGHT!!!!!!
It was amazing. And it wasnt just a show. It was everything. A visual/audio sensory theater. The arena was packed. The opening performance wasnt all that great. They left, there was a break. THen it got dark, there were lights shining on the stage, the ring of eyes and flames on the spot where each musician stood. A screen in the back playing videos. They came out. They were beautiful. I can honestly say Danny Carey stole the show. Everyone was amazing, of course, though. Maynard, shaved head, leather pants and a tight black shirt on his own platform. He was merely a shadow throughout the show. Adam, with his short hair, head constantly down, in sinc with Justin chancellor and his long hair. Danny with his perplexingly quick movements. Maynards voice aroused so many tears from me. Its so smooth and perfectly pitched. As they played I felt something grow inside of me, something changed. As maynard would say, I became healed; of all my wounds and pain which has torn me apart through the years. With Matt by my side i never felt more alive. He held me and we looked deep into eachother's eyes. It was a glorious night, and unforgettable one. As they band finished they all gathered in the center of the stage and had a big group hug, as they healed too.....
