So hard to write a happy ending

When it's the rules I'm bending

Just to please you.

To myself i cannot be true.

My head shakes

In the midst of a power hungry craze.

All of this insignificance takes

Stars shining over

This shady, run down town.

I'm telling you now: it's over.

Don't rush it now, it's not meant to be, baby.

Leave me now to peace and euphoria

Let the tide settle your temper

Let the waves carry your lifeless, but not souless body to the sea.

Don't you ever return again, past your outrageous triumphs, to me.

Let me run wild in this forever
