hey everyone, josh here, we recently broke up due to a reason of not being able to communicate and basically not showing up for practice. We all are still great friends and will continue to be. Me (josh) and skot are starting a project band and we already have 2 songs that are way better than anything overyonder wrote in 5 whole months, so that should tell you that we found out who is the true people commited, over yonder was full of people who had different tastes, me and skot had hearts for punk, kyle was a hardcore fanatic, and well chris could be happy with anything. So one of the main reasons it fell apart was becuase kyle was always wanting are songs more " harder" so to speak and would always not listen to josh or skot, especially at the last practice, heres what happened at the last practice, Skot was trying to tune as josh sat still with his bass, kyle was playing solos as usual and chris was banging on his drums louder than ever and skot blew a fuse and told kyle to shut off his guiatar if all he was going to do was solo, then skot told him that kyle only wanted his way cause when other people were doing stuff and kyle wanted his voice to be heard so he would yell instead of take it for 5 months strait like josh and skot did. so then he started talking and then josh just got really mad cause he made no sense whatso ever in what he was saying so when skot noticed josh was also pissed, skot unplugged his guitar and walked away, ( the only thing that will get kyle to stop playing)and then josh followed and then chris did. We three walked out side of the garage full of jesus christ guitar soloing and josh told skot and chris that he was basically tired of the way kyle viewed the band, but just for all you people out there in the internet zone, the reason of overyonder breaking up was not because of josh disliking kyles view,(although he would have a positice view about the band but he would never make ANYTHING up, come to practice and couldnt even remember the names of our songs or how they were played)or not because kyle disliking the way josh did things, it was all equaled out and definitly in Gods will. Josh had already decided that he was not going any where in this band because we hadnt wrote a song in a month and none of them got anybetter so if you are interested for the whole story email skot or josh at SKOT180@aol.com or Joolash180@hotmail.com and remember, this was not a ploy to make kyle mad but just was to inform you of what happend because when you see the top it kinda makes you wonder but that is joshs grandma in those pictures crying because of overyonders break up, but dont worry, there will be another band formed out of over yonder in the future, until then, stay tuned in the yonderer zone.
