We started collecting press stuff about
our campaigns some three years ago.
Its always nice too look back at what we
have stirred up during that time.
Anyway on this page you can read what
people wrote about us. If you
know any Dutch that is.

Great news for all our visitors. Our new
site; fast, easy to navigate and without
banners or spyware, is now up and running at...

www.benninkdorrestein.nl

A great article in the Volkskrant on our Cialis campaign.

Our biggest piece of Adfo frontpage so far!
The Cialis ad Falentijn proves to be pretty newsworthy.

Cialis claimed a nice piece of page 2
in the Reclameweek.

War Child Britain now uses our theme!
See for yourself at
the English War Child site

Reclameweek liked our laptopmailing.
In fact. It realy looks pretty darn real.

This year Feast for Peace persuaded some
very prominent politicians to tend bar.
The The Hague Traffic Police must have had
a field day controlling drunk drivers.

Delta Lloyd and WWF both both won SAN Awards.
Thats why Bennink and Dorrestein are
among the best teams this year.
So please don't disturb us for a week or two.
We are too busy polishing our Porsches.

Those guys at the court of appeal in Nigeria
must have sensed it.
We made this ad to resist the stoning of Amina Laval.
And we were just trying to get it published,
when CNN Breaking News informed us that she was finally acquitted.
A great relief. Congrats Amina!

Our Pizzamailing in de Reclameweek. Thanks Nicolette

Aisa on the back of the Adfo. The article
contained a pretty funny story about Wouter Bos.

Our brand new interview in Credits on good causes.
p.s. we did not have anything to do with Bio Vakantie Dorp. Promise

Dolf Jansen helped us to promote a liberation day event for War Child.

Romke Oortwijn (N=5)receives the first WRKS Pizza mailing
out of the hands of a real Pizza Koerier.

Pierre Wind and Marco Borsato officialy open
the Feast for Peace campaign by flying the
white flag from the top of the Euromast.

Pierre Wind even became a "KRO Hero" for his role in
promoting Feast for Peace. Congrats Pierre!

A huge article on Patrick's career and life.
Half a page in The Amsterdamse Stadsblad.

An article in the Reclameweek featuring
the Feast for Peace Campaign.

Adformatie. Another page 3.
The Feast for Peace campaign this time.
To use the John Lennon music
we needed permission from Yoko personally.

Voici, A forbidden ad, and a tribute to a great lady.
"My life, my death", featuring the courageous Annemarie Grewel;
fighting ambassador for euthanasia
untill the very end. I suppose its alright to pay attention to
this great piece of work now. Hans Born and Patrick made
the concept, a couple of years ago. I only did the copy.
which is not printed here, Regretably,
at the last moment the NVVE refused to print this ad.
There has been an embargo on it ever since.

The reclameweek liked our campaign for KPN Telecom.

Hey, isn't that... Paul Ruven, our favorite director?

The Fietsersbond on the Adfo Newspage.

This time we shook up the Ahold marketing department
The artikel in Nieuwe Revu is about our ad for Varkens in Nood.
The headline reads: Albert Heijn the biggest Swine. Oink

The Volkskrant pays some attention to Feast for Peace.

Frontpage Amsterdams Stadsblad
paying attention to our Fietsersbond campaign.

An interview with me myself and i,
featuring Patrick and my brother Marc Bennink
who is copywriter at Y&R.

Me (the ugly bald guy) partycrashing in
the Telegraaf, on the society page.

An article in the Volkskrant about us.
Next to a photo of my favorite politician.
Hans Wiegel! I am not worthy.

The 17 th of August, I was also quoted in
the Volkskrant... several times even. Cuwl.

We won a Bronze Effie for the Euro Campaign.
Below you'll find the true story about this campaign.
Together with Kees Sterrenburg and Martijn Horvath
Patrick and i did the pitch for the Euro account.
The four of us won the pitch for Publicis.
Kees came up with the winning campaigntheme.
"The Euro is van ons allemaal."
On that theme, a campaign was made by Patrick and me.
We did the first five commercials
and the first zilion ads and posters.
Seen in that light, it is a bit fishy,
that Martijn seems to get most of the credits.
Oh well, he probably needs the credits more than we do. ;-)

We won the SAN Advertisers Award 2001
for the ministerie van SZW.

In our WWF Spot we use the song "Morning has broken."
Cat liked the spot very much.
He said; "This is the only way my music should be handled."

Youp van het Hek, a famous Dutch comedian
wrote some very nice words about our War Child film
in his weekly column in the VARA gids.
Thanks Youp.

Len Munnik, a famous Dutch Cartoonist, was inspired
by the Veestapel we made for Wakker Dier.

Marco B and fans in front of our War Child poster.
The somewhat fat soldier on the poster is eh... me.

Willemijn Verloop, War Child director, at the fundraiser
held at "D' Hoop op de Swarte Walvis" for Feast for Peace.

The other men's fashion stores in the chique PC Hooftstraat Amsterdam
were not amused by this huge Sales poster
that Ramon, Hans and i made for Society Shop.

A huge War Child billboard
put at our disposal by
those wonderful guys of Multivastgoed.

We won the Advertisers Award 1999 for Warchild.

Copywriter: Jan Bennink
Art Direction: Patrick Dorrestein
Type of Award: Award given by Dutch advertisers
Newspaper clipping: De Telegraaf Saturday 13-05-2000.

Cartoonist Frits Berend must have realy liked our War Child Idea

Auto Motor Classic on page 3 of the Adformatie.

An nice little War Child interview in the Adformatie.

Quit a good Vrij Uit Ad in the Reclameweek.

As a stunt we sent a guy in ski outfit to the beach.
Because the Vrij Uit Ski Brochure came out that day.
It was 25 degrees in the shade, poor guy.

Another nice little pagefilling interview on
our new War Child Campaign.

Some sincere compliments on the War Child Campaign
in the Reclame Week.

A very very good score for WWF in the
Reclame Week appreciation poles. Quite a compliment.

Not everybody likes us, though.
This hate letter was printed in a
Dutch newspaper, in response to our Sire ad
in which we used the name "van Woensel".

Oh well, as long as they talk about us
its allright, i guess.

I almost forgot our electronic stuff. This is a new frontier
that we are exploring. Not without succes, i might say
