Continuing Education at IGNOU New Delhi from 01-01-2003 to 31-12-2005.

He has M.A., Ph.D and D. Litt.
In the Social Work

He is pioneer in introducing
programmes of study in Social work, HIV/AIDS, and family life education in
Indian Higher Education system through Distance Learning.

He
has about 200 publications to his credit which include books (both
authored/co-authored : 17; as well as edited), research papers articles and
lessons etc.

wrote forward for two of his books.

He is one of the Editors of
the Encyclopaedia of Social Work in India (Third edition).

He is a member in the
Editorial Advisory Board of the Indian Journal of Open Learning.

He was instrumental in
establishing the CBCI-IGNOU Chair on ‘Health & Social Welfare’ at IGNOU,
New Delhi in 2000.
