Slowly clawing its way onto the San Ramon punk scene, Sphinkter's ultimate goal is to spread its unique blend of punk rock all across Northern California in hopes of enlightening the masses as to the virtues of punk rock.
This dynamic duo would be considered by many to be garage, with their studio a large upstairs room in a roomy house. However, they are as eager and as ready to burst onto the punk scene as any pair of young misfits you've ever seen.
One word commonly used to describe them is upset. Upset at the lack of enthusiasm towards punk in San Ramon. Upset at getting no respect. Upset that a local mall is closing. Mainly just upset.
San Ramon locals, look for them to make a big splash at Colonel Moustache in coming years...

(4/20/00) - The boys of Sphinkter took a trip to the studio today to record "(Trisha's a) Crack Fiend",
but a mixer malfunction prevented them from multitracking properly and at the end of the day they
were unable to record. Hopefully next time will be more successful, as a recording will let them finally
upload an mp3.
