1995 NISSAN PATHFINDER

I bought my '95 Pathfinder in '99 in a mostly stock condition. The only modifications were the custom wheels and tint. Since I've had her I've added a new stereo system (in-dash CD, amps, subs), a Cobra CB with a Firestik antenna, Manik brush guard, Yakima roof rack with the PowderHound four board carrier, recovery straps, auxillary lighting, fire extinguisher, first aid kit (I am an NREMT), and a couple other minor upgrades. I have a custom 3" lift kit waiting to be installed, which will hopefully be done in the very near future. Once the lift is installed I'll be getting new BFG T/A's 31/10.5/15" or 32/11.5/15" depending on available clearance. I'll try and get before and after pics.

I hope this page will be getting updated often, as I get the money for new goodies.

This was taken at the Coast Guard Station at Lake Tahoe, CA. What a miserable place to be stationed, beautiful summers, powdery winters, life for these guys must suck!

The Pathfinder going through one of the great redwoods. The bad thing about traveling by yourself is you can't be in any of the pictures. Shots like this are tough. I had to climb out the passenger side window and over the hood to get this one.

This was taken somewhere along the PCH near the California and Oregon border July '99. When the fog lifted, which wasn't often, it was awesome!

Here's Betty after the installation of the lift.

OK, the lift, shocks and new tires are on. I really wanted to get back to at least stock size tires but with the offset of the wheels I can't put on anything but 30/9.50/15" without tearing off the fender flares when the wheel is turned to the stops. The ride isn't as bad as I expected, at least not up front. Passengers in the backseat aren't too fond of the stiffer springs in the rear, though. I'm contemplating trying a two inch body lift to get some bigger tires on and increase my clearance, but we'll see.

Before and after pictures at the carwash.
