Last night, I had a dream
That we went to Disneyland
Went on all the rides,
Didn't have to wait in line.

Where we stared up at the stars,

We hung out at the rainbow
Where we drank till half past two,
Nothing could go wrong
Any time that I'm with you.
Like crashing a hotel room
Or leading up to that first kiss
Or searching for a high school
That you know doesn't exist.

These are the things
That make me free.
I feel like I'm stuck in
"Stand By Me,"
This night was too good to be true.

Today, I woke up alone
Wishing you were here with me.
I want us to be something
That we probably never will be.
Today you called me up
And said you'd see me at our show,
But now I'm stuck debating
If I even wanna go.

Whitney, don't you understand
That what I say is true?
I just want you to know
I've got a major crush on you.
I'll take you to Las Vegas

I only wish that this could be.

Some go thru life alone, always looking for that special one that completes them and makes them feel like a real person. I thank every star in the sky that I'm not one of those people; the constellations have spelled out a fortune for me and all poetry loses its meaning.

I have a shining star of my own, one that I can hold onto and love and be loved by and swap music and books and trivia with. Someone who gives me a sense of meaning, a reason for living and being and existance itself. James, you hold my heart, my soul, and everything in between. I love you more than life itself.










I never knew that forever wouldn't be long enough.
