Thrashing through the decaying underbrush that is Indianapolis, Carnosaur has emerged fangs bared and frothing intent upon bestowing flesh-rending love bites on all those lacking the sense to flee. In 2006 Carnosaur unleashed a hardcore punk rock Gotterdammerung channeling earlier evolutionary masterpieces like Black Flag and the Misfits through each band member's own impressive rock and roll resume. Like the deranged geneticist resurrecting dinosaurs in the 1993 film "Carnosaur!" the band is breathing new life into hardcore punk rock and roll, another embodiment of primeval brutality considered long extinct by some. It is, however, usually a mistake to assume that the monster is dead...

Carnosaur is:

Bruce Stuckey-vocals

Mike Metzger-guitar

Scoth Dodson-drums

Jason Pizzleman-bass

Modern cladistic analysis defines Carnosauria as those dinosaurs sharing a more recent common ancestor with Allosaurus than with modern birds, which is certainly true of the members of Carnosaur. The possible exception is Scoth, who I believe might be some sort of Celtic goblin.
