The short history of Freestyle Motorcross can be traced to the creators of the first "Crusty Demons of Dirt" video. Mike Metzger, who is the undisputed king of the early videos and is still the top rider in the world, is credited with inventing many of the tricks you will see. He is for sure the guy perfecting most of them. There are a only a couple dozen riders In each of these events. I hope more people start competing because even though I don't think that the sport will go away, there is still the chance that people will get tired of seeing the same riders over and over. That is the purpose of this site. To get more people involved to make sure that Freestyle motocross is here to stay.
