2/1/04 Alot has changed around this scene here in springfield since i last updated this site. as you may have noticed some bands are still around(the timmys nil8) some sadly are not around anymore(I.O.A. the gunga dins) and some have just went through a buncha changes in line up(pound for pound is the only to come to mind). the bands who are still around are still rocking out around the 217 scene, but its hard to have shows with all these pop" punk" kids it seems. it sucks the way the scene is now but i think i speak for myself eknb and evan that the time has come to take control of the scene. get out to the fucking shows do a website start a band shit will hoopefully get better again. so thats why as of in a few days when i get some shit im going to start up dating this site on as regular basis so check back here aswell as know know boundaries, and spfld shows! 217 REPRESENT!!!
