The Masterpiece .. The Legend: CHRIS MASTERS

Fall at the Feet of Greatness!

::Days after the debut of the highly anticipated return of I.W.E. Raw, the fans, as well as the Superstars and staff, were amazed of how strong an impact the product made Monday night. Ratings were higher than they ever have been, tickets were completely sold out, and even I.W.E. merchandise was in high demand. Monday night Raw was more than just a success, it was a meer preview of the action and intensity that International Wrestling Entertainment has to offer. Meanwhile, the scene opened to view the backstage lobby area of an anonymous arena. Television and camera wires covered the floors and I.W.E. crew were visible in the background doing what they do best to guarantee a successful show. The camera slowly examined the foyer within a circular motion only to place its vision upon a flawless image; a true creation of God; a man among men; not A masterpiece, but "THE Masterpiece" Chris Masters.::

"The Oklahoma Sooner" Jim Ross: There he is, ladies and gentlemen: an atheletic, talented, young man by the name of Chris Masters, who reffers to himself as "The Masterpiece".

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Just look at him, J.R; it would be politically incorrect to reffer to him as anything other than a masterpiece. Look at that frame It looks as though he were literally edged from stone!

"The Oklahoma Sooner" Jim Ross: Yes, King, he does have an impressive physique... but I wouldn't go that far.

::Leaning against a Power-Aid vending machine, Masters stood reading the newest issue of I.W.E. magazine with the infamous Chris Masters smirk expressed across his ruggedly handsome face. He wore dark grey breakaways to which a white streak ran down each side. Monstrous arms buldged from a pattented black "Masterlock" t-shirt, the outlining of his upper body signaling the deadly submission, locking his hands with arms raised, "No One Can Break The Masterlock!" written above it. The newest addition of merchandise that can be found on IWEshop.com. A black I.W.E. skull cap tightly covered his head. Reading, snickering, and making silent comments to himself, Masters was suddenly approached by an I.W.E. official with a microphone in hand.::

IWE Official: It is none other than I.W.E.'s own "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters. Masters, do you mind sharring word with International Wrestling Entertainment and the rest of the world?

::Masters looking away from the magazine from the corner of his eye, he acknowledged the smaller man's presence. With a slight sigh of annoyance, Masters closed the magazine, using his finger as a marker. Crossing his incredibly defined arms, he responded.

"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters: If you could make it quick, it would be much appreciated. My time is precious and you've already begun to work my nerves.

::The IWE Official stood intimidated by the words of "The Masterpiece", his 6'5" of muscle mass towering over his 5'9" of raviolli and T.V. dinners. He quickly persued what he came to do.::

IWE Official: ...Yes, of course. Masters, as you may already know, this upcoming Monday night on International Wrestling Entertainment's second addition of Raw, you will be facing not only Rob Van Dam, but Chris Benoit as well in triple threat competition. As your first match here in the I.W.E., how does that make you feel going up against such great competitors of the business?

::"The Masterpiece" could do nothing but roll his eyes at the question. Taking a minute to look away from the official, flashing that smile of arrogance, Chris Masters took a moment to collect himself before he lost his temper. After running a hand down his strong chin, he looked back toward the official and proceeded with the interview.::

"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters: When I decided to sign with International Wrestling Entertainment, I signed knowing that I would be in competition with the best that the wrestling industry had to offer world wide. When I made the decision to sign with International Wrestling Entertainment, I signed with the confidence... No, the knowledge that I can beat any one in the locker room at any time, at any place, under any circumstance. What you are looking at here, son, is not only a masterpiece, but history in the making. I am the future of this business and there isn't a damn person on the face of this planet who can deny me the title of being the absolute best submissionest today, in the past, or in the future. Last Monday night on Raw displayed a hell of a show, one of the best in I.W.E. history with record-breaking ratings. But you know, the one thing that could have made last Monday even better, the one thing that could have made last Monday night's ratings much higher, the one man that did not have the pleasure to compete on the debut return of I.W.E. Raw... "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters. And next week on Raw, I am going to grace the not only International Wrestling Entertainment, but I am going to grace the world with my in ring debut against Rob Van Dam and Chris Benoit. Within the roster, you've got great wrestlers such as "The Phenom" the Undertaker, or even "The Game" Triple H- icons of this industry. Their time will come and their fate will be tested against my Masterlock, but until then, who are Chris Benoit and Rob Van Dam and what importance do they have to the likes of "The Masterpiece"? "Mr. Monday Night", "The Whole Damn Show", "The Drug Relapse Waiting to Happen" Rob Van Dam. RVD has much talent, but quite frankly Van Dam doesn't know his ass from a whole in the ground. If he wasn't too busy trippin acid, he might have a future in the I.W.E., a dull one, but a future none the less. He is quick, and his style is unorthadox, but his skill cannot match my power. Once my hands are clasped around his neck, his lower body strength will not be able to save him. Rob Van Dam is a non-issue. Now on the other hand, we have "The Rabid Wolverine" Chris Benoit, the only opponent I have in this match up with some credibility. Chris Benoit is known as possibly-and I quote-"The best technical wrestler alive", to which he may be. But if Chris Benoit thinks, for even a second, that his Crippler Crossface is more effective, more agonizing, more torturous than my Masterlock, then he has one too many teeth loose in that skull of his. I am stronger, I am younger, I am simply better than Benoit and I am going to show him, first hand, that he is past his prime and come Monday night on Raw, in the middle of that ring, in front of the entire world, Benoit's career here in International Wrestling Entertainment will end almost as quickly as it started. There's no question to the outcome of this match this Monday night, because I will walk into the Milwaukee Arena and I will walk out leaving Rob Van Damn and Chris Benoit broken men. Whether it be RVD or Benoit, it really doesn't concern me, one of those two men are gonna tap... You bet your ass they'll tap. Their lives depend on it.

::The intensity shown through "The Masterpiece" was radiant, causing him to tighten his grip on the magazine, leaving it in a crumpled ruin.

IWE Official: Very powerful words from an obviously... very powerful man. But the I.W.E. and all of it's many fans have a question unanswered. Very quickly within your I.W.E. career, it is rumored that you have formed a friendship with both "The Animal" Batista and Chris Jericho, some sort of pact between the three of you. How true is this rumor, exactly?

::The question obviously seemed to bother Masters, for he glanced at the I.W.E. official in the same manner as he approached. The glance from the corner of his eye was just as threatening as any verbal gesture. A moment passed without word from either men. Suddenly, "The Masterpiece" slammed the magazine within the solar plexus of the official with force before he made his way out of view of the camera, sending the smaller man to the ground and without air in his lungs. Whether the rumor be true or not, the question most definitely struck a nerve. Then again, that isn't very hard to do with Chris Masters. Focusing on the official on the ground, gasping for air, the scene momentarily faded to black.::
